OVERVIEW

Always one of the strongest aquatic programs in the Triad, you will love the many activities offered by Hamilton Lakes. Lap swimming, water volleyball, water aerobics and swimming lessons take place in the multi-purpose pool, leaving the large pool for more family activities. The pool is also available for small birthday parties (call the pool for more information).  If you are interested in larger parties, please call the club at 855-7255.

Hamilton Lakes Swim and Tennis Club boasts the following pool facilities for members and their guests:   

- Main Pool – 6 lane 50-meters with three diving boards (one is a high dive). Hamilton Lakes is the only private 50 meter pool in Greensboro!

- Multi-purpose Pool (Lap Pool) – 4 lane 25-meter

- Wading Pool (Baby Pool) -The baby pool has a non-slip, 0-18-inch "beach entry." The new misty raindrops sprinkler will mean many happy hours of fun and play. A cover partially shades the baby pool thus relieving the worry of infant sunburn.

REDBOOKS

The Red Book is published annually by the Board of Directors and Staff. The book has a listing of the by-laws, important contact information, membership information as well as club rules. To obtain a copy of the "Red Book," please contact the Club Manager at
855-7255.

Membership Tags

 Tags will not be mailed to you but may be picked up at the pool when the season begins. It is essential that your tag be with you while you are on the campus. This is for the member’s protection, so please make every effort to abide by this important regulation. Just a reminder, a member caught letting a non-member use a tag is subject to a two-week suspension. The cost to replace a lost tag is $5.00.

 

GUEST POLICY

A member must accompany a guest unless other arrangements have been made with the tennis director or pool manager.  Adult members are required to purchase pool guest passes for in-town guests..  Out-of-town guests are admitted without cost, but must be pre-registered by an adult member.

Members have requested that a limit be put on the number of times a person may use the facility as a guest. They feel that their recreation time at the club is an important part of their lives and they have paid for club privileges and should reap the benefits. Guests are welcome at Hamilton.
However, some have taken advantage of the guest policy and are using the facility more than some of the members who pay yearly dues. Therefore the Board of Directors decided that in-town guests may not use the facility more than four times each month. This applies at both the pool and tennis courts.

All guests must register at the appropriate clubhouse. Tennis guest passes are $5.00 per visit if the guest is a member of another club and $10 (this is new) if not. Pool guest passes may be purchased for $5.00 per pass or a book of five passes for $20. Only an adult member may purchase guest passes. This is to insure that the parent is aware of whom their child is
bringing to the club. Your cooperation is appreciated.

NANNY PASS

A baby-sitter must be at least thirteen years old. If he or she is not a member of the club, a guest pass must be issued for the sitter. If a member employs a full-time nanny, a "Nanny Pass" may be arranged with the Club Manager.
